Stereo-typing

My header says it all.

Personally,
I'm not a racist & I don't like stereotyping.

Seriously guys.
You want me to go around with a sticky note on my forehead saying 'I am Chinese'?
I'm not Chindian, Chinlay, whatever.
T.T

People have stupid general perception that ALL chinese, or asians, have small,slit-like eyes.
What?
Now we can't have big eyes? We can't have a tall, sharp noses?
You racist!

You people and your shallow minds.

Even the Whites have a dumb way of stereotyping any other people other than their own.
For example:
The Chinese only eat rice and dumplings
The Indians only have curry
If you're French, you only eat snails (escargo, however you spell it)
You're Italian? You eat pasta and pasta only.
You're Irish? All you eat are potatoes and you only drink beer.
The English drinks nothing but tea.
etc

Come on!

Alright, back to me.
I'm Malaysian Chinese.
What's so difficult to understand?

''Wait, okay, so you're chinese, but Malaysian? Huh?''
Dude,
you want me to give you history lessons 'bout how my ancestors came from China?
It's the same concept like the American Chinese.

& oh.
Not all Asians are short.
Ever heard of Yao Ming?

We Chinese have good language.
Don't mock us.
Not all of us have that 'chinese accent english'.
I don't speak that way. Alot of my friends don't speak that way.
Besides,
it's better than not being able to speak YOUR language.
Can YOU speak OUR language?
No!
Even if you could,
it would come out funny.

One more thing:
Chinese people can't have mat salleh sounding family names?

My family name is Sam.
So I can't be a Chinese?
You're just jealous it sounds cool.

I remember when I used to swim,
those sampat aunties who don't know me would think I'm white.
When they finally saw me, here's what I heard:
"She's not white! She doesn't even look a bit like one! What race is she ah?''

Shallow-minded.

I wouldn't mind that much if you said I'm Japanese or Korean.
Coz..
their ancestors were Chinese anyways
HAHAH.

I'm Chinese.
I'm proud to be one.
